This project is the result of a collaboration between Amherst College, the Pioneer Valley chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and Kuhn Riddle Architects. Amherst College donated the land for the houses with the caveat that the homes should challenge the standard notion of what a Habitat for Humanity house is while still being affordable and buildable by volunteer labor.
