Held at Pioneer Courthouse Square every July, Sand in the City is a collaboration between architects and contractors to design and build sand sculptures as a fundraiser to support Kids on the Block, a children's non-profit which uses the power of puppetry to inspire children to appreciate differences, say no to all forms of prejudice, and develop skills to grow up healthy and safe.
